Terms and conditions of sale template
Terms and conditions of sale are the standard terms on which a seller supplies goods to business customers. They cover prices, payment, delivery, risk, inspection, retention of title, faulty goods and the seller's liability. A seller attaches them to quotes and order confirmations. A short section for consumers can be added if the seller also sells to them.

Questions people ask
What are terms and conditions of sale?
The standard terms a seller applies to its sales. They set out price, payment, delivery and what happens if something goes wrong.
Are these for businesses or consumers?
They are for business customers. An optional section covers consumers if you also sell to them, because consumers have extra rights.
What is retention of title?
A clause saying the seller still owns the goods until they are paid for. This agreement gives a choice of two versions.
How do I make them part of the contract?
Refer to them in your quote or order confirmation and make sure the customer has seen them before it orders.
Can I change them for one customer?
Yes. For an ongoing relationship with negotiated terms, a supply agreement may suit better.
